The calendar of the Conducting Competition

All events take place in the– Cornel Țăranu Amphitheater at the Gheorghe Dima National Music Academy. The Transylvania State Philharmonic Choir will perform in all stages of the competittion

22 October 2026, 7PM

Opening Ceremony 

The Presentation of the Jury
Drawing lots of the entrance in the competition

23 October 2026, 2.30PM – 5.00, 5.30 – 8.00PM

Round 1 – 32 candidates, length of the round: 7 minutes

The ensembles for this round will be two alternating double quintets, members of Transylvania State Philharmonic Choir
