The title of Music Ph.D., obtained in the year 2003, with the thesis “Conducting Approach as Accomplishment Factor of An Interpretation Concept”, indicates another side of his activity, that of music research, strongly connected to the conducting practice, and illustrated by the two volumes published in the year 2005: “Interpretation Concept in the Conducting Approach” and “The Relation of the Conductor with the Music Ensemble”.
The artistic activity of the conductor Ciprian Para is closely connected to the didactical one, and his repertoire includes works belonging to different genres, that illustrate stylistically the great epochs in the history of universal and Romanian music, comprised in choir anthologies that he made for a didactic purpose.
